Abstract: Subjective evaluation of vehicle handling and stability plays a significant role in the process of vehicle developing and chassis tuning, while the level of our subjective evaluation is relatively backward. For our subjective evaluation engineers, it is easy to evaluate one property but difficult to rate the overall performance in practice. The hierarchy model is established and weights of subjective evaluation indexes are obtained based on fuzzy analytic hierarchy process(FAHP). Compared with the results getting from AHP, validity and necessity of using FAHP is proved. Results of overall performance are given with weights and scores of single indexes. Through the analysis of the scores of indexes and their weights, the proposal for improving the overall performance is given. The proposed method can provide a scientific reference for the benchmark and chassis turning.
