RESEARCH ON THE THERMAL-DEFORMATION CONTROL BY USING CONSTANT TEMPERATURE CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE CHANGE MATERIAL

Abstract: The phase change material (PCM) is introduced into the control technology of NC machine tool’s thermal deformation. Based on the analysis of phase change thermal conduction, the characteristics of two-dimensional heat transfer including the course of phase change are studied. The variational formulation is derived. To employ the adaptive deforming grid finite element method, the temperature field and thermal deformation are successfully calculated and identified with the experimental measured results.
