INVESTIGATION OF FRICTION CHARACTERISTIC OF STEELS UNDER ROLLING-SLIDING CONTION

Abstract

Abstract: The rolling testing apparatus in reciprocating rolling is developed from tension-compression hydraulic machine with a high precision, and a number of tests are performed. From the test result analyzing, the conclusions could be obtained as follow：the coefficient of friction is variation when the body begins to roll from rest, and it is sharp affected with the wear style changing.
