ANALYSIS OF THE FORMING PARAMETERS OF BJ-TYPED CONSTANT VELOCITY JOINT OUTER RACE WITH FINITE ELEMENT METHOD

Abstract: The preform’s dimensions of the BJ-typed constant velocity joint outer race (CVJOR) are optimized with finite element method and the deformation diagrams are presented. Several CVJOR under different dimensional conditions are made in order to test the validity of the results of the FEM simulation. At the same time the key dimensional reference curves of the outer race performs of several different cars are introduced.
