Artificial Self-recovery Opens New Way for Intelligent Process Manufacturing to Develop Safely and Healthily

Abstract: In the 1980s, Intelligent Manufacturing research started, and it was first proposed to use intelligent machines or machine intelligence to manufacture products without manual intervention, so the connotation and original intention of intelligent manufacturing is atificial intelligence plus automation. In recent years, countries around the world have expanded the breadth of intelligent manufacturing to design, production, management, service and other manufacturing activities, so as to improve the quality, efficiency and core competitiveness of the manufacturing industry, and the application of this method in discrete manufacturing industry is remarkable. The development of artificial intelligence from weakness to strength makes the future machine more and more intelligent, if the machine is merely intelligent but not healthy, in the face of the major needs of aerospace and high-risk process manufacturing safe and reliable and long-term stable operation, the intelligent manufacturing method advocated today is difficult to adapt. To this end, the core technology of Intelligent Manufacturing should also be deeply developed, especially the deep integration with equipment of the key elements of productivity, to achieve the safe and reliable design and manufacturing for manufacturing equipment systems, and to ensure its autonomous healthy operation. From artificial intelligence to artificial self-recovery, from automation to self-recovery, engineering self-recovery theory expands the research field of cybernetics and engineering cybernetics, and will lead the development of intelligent manufacturing to smart, safe and healthy manufacturing. The first industrial revolution created an era of automation in which machines replaced manual labor, artificial self-recovery helped equipment autonomous health gradually replace human labor operation and maintenance, opened up a new way of process intelligent manufacturing safety and health development, enabled a new round of scientific and technological revolution, and opened up an era of self-recovery.
