Research on Batch Scheduling of Hybrid Production Line for Machine Tool Precision Spindle Processing

Abstract: Faced machine tool precision spindle Processing, the production scheduling problems with hybrid flow job is studied. Firstly, Through analyzing the machine precision spindle machining process, an intelligent batch scheduling model of hybrid production line is built, with factors of the spindle grinding process, batching rules and equipment utilization etc., as restriction conditions, minimizing the total machining time and so on. Then, a two-stage optimization algorithm based on differential evolution algorithm and genetic algorithm is designed to solve the model. The actual experiment of a precision spindle production line is taken as an example to experiment, and compared with traditional processing schemes and another typical batch scheduling schemes. The result shows the effectiveness of the intelligent batch scheduling model, the accuracy and the superiority in solving practical problems of the algorithm, which can effectively shorten the production cycle and improve the processing efficiency and equipment utilization.
