Method for Determining Weight Coefficient of Unequal Precision Measurement Results

Abstract: Unequal precision measurement is ubiquity in measurement. However, the representation of Unequal precision measurement result is insufficient because of the incomplete determination of weight coefficient. In view of this problem, a theoretical calculation model of weight coefficient for unequal precision measurement is proposed. That is, the weight coefficient is composed of the influence coefficient of each factor affecting the measurement result and the influence grade coefficient of the corresponding factors affecting the measurement result. Criteria for determining the influence coefficients and grade coefficients of unequal precision measurements caused by multiple factors such as measurement equipment, measurement methods, surveyors, and measurement environments is presented. The representation method of measurement result and the method for determining the weight coefficient of unequal precision measurement caused by multiple influence factors are also given in this paper. So that the representation method of unequal precision measurement result becomes more complete. Feasibility of the model is verified by measurement experiments and data processing examples.
