Abstract: It is time consuming and low efficiency to process result data for car simulation, due to the fact that a lot of manual and repeated work needed in the post processing procedure. To solve the problem, taking post process of computer aided engineering (CAE) as research object, a study is conducted for CAE post process platform which is explored to embrace knowledge based engineering (KBE). The knowledge building system and user define feature are made as the goal direction, the standard of enterprise and experience of CAE analysis are united together, and various development toolkits under the HyperWorks platform are used comprehensively. A platform is designed and accomplished through secondary development in HyperWorks environment. Some key technologies are presented in this platform, such as user defined template, and automatic data collector. The practice in the real industry models shows that the platform provides an efficient, professional, and reliable toolkit for CAE engineers.
