Abstract: The workflow and the key techniques are described which based on knowledge integration and parametric modeling to implement a smart software developing tool for vehicle glass regulator system design. This tool is based on the UG workbench using lasted UG developing tools uniting the optimum design theories and methods, integrating experience about auto body door design and relative professional knowledge. It also presents some key techniques of UG development tools (UDU, KF, Wizard UI and UDF ). Glass regulator design tool is an expert and smart design tool for vehicle design. By using such a tool, the body designer can dramatically reduce a significant amount developing time and complete design easily and productively.
