DYNAMIC TEST AND SIMULATION TO THE NEW MODEL OF HYDRAULIC-GAP BUFFER

Abstract: A new model of buffer—hydraulic-gap buffer has been developed. The operation principle, the structure characteristics and the performance of the new buffer are introduced. The dynamic performance of the new model hydraulic-gap buffer is verified and the test values and the test graphs through stamp drop test are obtained. The test results indicate that the caution force increases in high speed and the capacity is large. A mathematic model is established and a simulated program on the basis of dynamics analysis is edited. The simulated results coincide with the test results very well. It indicates the accuracy of the mathematic model and calculation method and the credi-bility of the simulated results. In order to cut down test expenses and improve research efficiency, the simulated program is used as substitute for tests to check the individual performance under the test with individual mass and individual horizontal cushion speed. The simulated curves state that the new model buffer rebound slightly and exhaustion much. And it is more similar with the ideal curve. The performance can be adjusted through the change of the design dimension.
