FURTHER ESTIMATION FOR RELIABILITY IN DEMONSTRATION TESTING

Abstract: For demonstration testing of type-I censoring, using the probability properties of β distribution function, transfer the acceptable probability expressed by sampling function into the lower fractile of F distribution, set up a formula which can be used to further estimate the product’s reliability characteristic parameter. Using reliability information of test data in demonstration testing, obtain estimation value of one-side confidence limit for reliability characteristic parameters at the given confidence. The validity of the above method is verified by numerical simulation computation.
