HYSTERESIS NONLINEARITY MODE- LING AND CONTROL OF GIANT MAGNETOSTRICTIVE ACTUATOR

Abstract: Aiming at the problems on hysteresis nonlinearity of GMM——giant magentostrictive actuator, the hysteresis model of GMM is set up using Priesach theory model. According to its anti-model, the feedforward compensator, adaptive algorithm of hysteresis model and the parameters of feedforward compensator adjusting dynamically are designed, which realizes to compensate and control the hysteresis nonlinearty of GMM finally. The results of simulation and test show that this model can be very good at depicting the hysteresis nonlinearity of GMM, and adopted adaptive algorithm is improved effec-tively hysteresis nonlinearity of displacement exported by GMM, has reduced the non-linear error of the system and has improved the control precision of GMM.
