Abstract: To reduce the risk of business process design, aiming at manufacturing’s feature, a manufacturing business process design technique is developed, which is constrained by manufacturing resources such as renewable resources, nonrenewable resources and information resources. From the analysis of customer-requirement of products, the process activities as well as the type and quantity of the required resources are conversely deduced, which result in feasible business process design. Finally, the proposed technique is illustrated by a producing business process of plastic lampshade.
