STUDY AND APPLICATION OF THE PRESCRIPTION DESIGN SYSTEM OF ZWZY5

Abstract: A method of orthogonal regressive design together with optimization is adopted to create a prescription design system of ZWZY5. In the system an orthogonal table, L18(21×37) is selected to draw up the test plan. The way the orthogonal multiple formulas regression is used to set regression equations for electrode properties. When the regression equations are used as the target function the optimum computation can be carried out and then an electrode prescription with optimum properties can be obtained. More than ten sorts of electrode such as EDC68 are successfully studies and madeup by using the system. EDC68, a kind of surfacing electrode, can be overlaid without preheating or low temperature preheating (150~350 ℃). Its layers will not crack or only crack slightly. It has fine comprehensive properties of high hardness, high wear resistance, high toughness and impact-resistance etc. Its normal temperature hardness is over 66 HRC. Its usual hardness is 68~71 HRC. It is used in batches to overlay the wear-resisting plate of a concrete pump, which can stand high stress, strong impact and violent wear and tear, and there is no brittle piece-dropping. When the pumping height is 180 m, about 13 000 m3 of concrete can be pumped. Its applied span is far longer than that of the wear-resisting plate overlaid by any other kind of wear-resisting electrode at home and abroad.
