Abstract: The on-the-spot balance adjustment with high precision is achieved by applying a computer on the data acquisition, the data process and the control of the executing mechanism of the dynamic balance system. The dynamic balance system of the precision centrifuge is composed of two measuring planes (each plane mounts two capacitance transducers), angle measuring unit and two correcting planes (each plane mounts 4 balance blocks and their corresponding stepping motors). The vibration vectors on the measuring planes are measured by their capacitance transducers, the phase of the composite vector of the two vibration vectors on the two measuring planes is the phase of the station unbalance. The decrease of the static unbalance is realized by moving the balance blocks many times, each time the vibration vectors on the two planes are measured after moving the balance blocks till the phases of two vectors are negative and the amplitudes of the two vectors are equal, while the static unbalance is 0, only the couple unbalance exists on the rotor. The precision of the dynamic balance can attain by means of decreasing the couple unbalance through moving the balance blocks many a time.
