FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS ON THE STRUCTURAL VIBRATION OF THE DISCHARGE PIPES FOR RECIPROCATING PUMPS

Abstract: The discharge pipes are simulated by the multiple frequency waves while the pump plugs move back and forth. By means of finite element method, a mathematical model of the structural vibration of discharge pipes is built. The design rules of reducing or eliminating vibration in practical engineering are summarized.
