PRINCIPLE AND APPLICATION OF FLEXIBLE FACE-CONTACT OVERRUNNING CLUTCH

Abstract

Abstract: The principle of a completely new overrunning clutch is presented. Compared with the principle of all other kinds of clutches, it has the advantages of more reliable self-locking, easier relaxing, more powerful transmission and longer service time. The presentation of this new overrunning principle will expands the application of overrunning clutch in some important areas. Besides, as a completely new principle of basic mechanical component, it is of great theoretical significance.
