Abstract: The function and social interesting of manufacturing technology are briefly analyzed. The historical development of manufacturing technology over the world has been reviewed. The developing environment of manufacturing technology in China has been introduced. The author addessed his suggestion on promoting the progress of manufacturing technology in China.
