Abstract: This paper introduces a new method to determine the oil-film stiffness and damping coefficients by use of the multi-frequency technique, and to use the electro-mechanical coupling to produce an unstable system on same testing rig to evaluate the accuracy of testing result. Results obtaind by used of this method are favorable.
