Abstract: In order to solve the difficult problem of measuring the profile of globoidal indexing cam, this paper put forward a method of computer-aid indirect measuring the profiles of indexing cam and method of appraising the error of cam profile. The paper established the mathematical model of indirect measuring cam profile and conducted the calculate formula of processing data to this method. By the correspond computer program, it can appraise the error of globoidal indexing cam given the parament values and motion program and measure, copy and improve designing the cam not given the parament values and motion program.
