Abstract: A series of dynamic characteristic analysis methods for continuous system is presented in the paper. The method includes three parts----phsical model establishing, mathematical model deriving and digital simulation. As an example, we analyse the dynamic characteristic of constant tension system in the machine of optical fibre tension testing.
