Abstract: In this paper, the types of rotor construction and the principls of power absorption have been described. The criteria of similarity for Hydro-Break model design and the factores which the simulating test should be obey have been given. The designing method and adjusting experience of 14000/500 type high speed disk Hydro-Brak have been introduced,too.
