Research on Memory-based Event-triggered Trajectory Tracking Control for Heavy Commercial Vehicles

Abstract: Aiming at the limited bandwidth networked tracking control system in the chassis domain of heavy commercial vehicles, it designs a trigger mechanism for updating control instructions based on historical information, so that it can meet the differentiated demands of control quality and communication efficiency in different response stages of the controlled system. Specifically, for the time-varying nonlinear tracking control system characterized by nonlinear cornering stiffness and variable driving speed, a corresponding linear time-invariant subsystem set is derived using the tensor product model transformation method. Based on the Lyapunov asymptotic stability theory of the sampled controlled system, the global stability criterion of the state feedback closed-loop control system is designed to obtain the weight matrix of the trigger condition and the gain matrix of the controller. The simulation results show that the memory-based event-triggered mechanism proposed in this paper achieves fast and slow control instruction triggers updates on demand in the transient and steady-state response stages of the controlled system, and achieves high-precision tracking and stability control objectives together with the designed feedback control law.
