精密外螺纹内旋铣的机理研究与刀具廓形设计

摘要: 硬切削技术与旋风铣削工艺的结合使得螺纹的“一次过”成形得以实现,针对外螺纹内旋铣工艺中存在的过切现象,结合某型号丝杠的双圆弧滚道从几何学的角度利用坐标转换的方法对该工艺的加工机理进行解析,建立刀具廓形与螺纹滚道法向截形的转换关系。通过Matlab编程讨论螺纹滚道旋铣成形过程中刀具廓形和刀具前角的设计问题,以及刀尖旋转直径和刀具—工件转速比的选用对过切程度的影响。仿真结果表明直接利用螺纹滚道的法向截形设计刀具廓形必然会引起滚道的过切,同时接触条件法设计的刀具廓形也不能消除螺纹滚道断续旋铣引起的过切。在此基础上提出基于坐标转换的刀具廓形设计方法,并得出基于螺纹滚道成形精度和表面粗糙度的内旋铣工艺参数的选择依据和步骤。

Abstract: The once generating cut of thread is accomplished owing to the application of hard cutting technology to thread whirling process. The undercutting trouble in internal whirling process of external thread is mathematically analyzed with coordinate transformation in order to acquire the machining mechanism . The transforming relationship between tool profile and thread raceway profile is found. The effect on thread raceway undercutting induced by tool profile, tool rake angle, rotating diameter of tool tip and speed ratio of workpiece-tool, is discussed via programming in commercial software Matlab. It is found that undercutting is inevitable in internal whirling process using tool designed directly by thread raceway profile, and it can’t be eliminated using tool designed with means of contact condition. A design method of tool profile for internal whirling is proposed to avoid undercutting. The criteria and steps for above parameters’ determining in internal whirling process are concluded based on requirements of profiling accuracy and roughness. Case of a specified double arc raceway of lead-screw is studied in the discussion.
