液体润滑剂/β-环糊精包合物为填料的酚醛树脂砂轮自润滑性能研究

Self-lubrication Performance of Phenolic Resin-bonded Grinding Wheel Filled with Inclusion Complex of β-Cyclodextrin and Liquid Lubricants

摘要: 以液体润滑剂(二烃五硫化物,RC2540)和β-环糊精(β-CD)为原料制备了纳米级润滑剂包合物,以包合物为填料制备了一种新型的具有自润滑性能的酚醛树脂砂轮。分析包合物在树脂中的形态及热重情况,考察包合物填充量对砂轮力学性能的影响。分别研究包合物含量和磨削参数(磨削速度、进给速度、磨削深度)对砂轮磨削性能的影响,分析包合物在磨削过程中释放RC2540并产生自润滑作用的机理。结果表明,润滑剂包合物在酚醛树脂固化过程中未被破坏;当包合物添加剂的填充量小于20%时,砂轮的抗拉强度和硬度均可满足实际使用要求;相同磨削条件下,填充10%包合物砂轮的磨削力相比于普通砂轮减小40%左右,温度降低35%左右,显现出良好的磨削性能。砂轮中的包合物在磨削过程中破裂,均匀释放出的RC2540与β-环糊精的摩擦产物共同作用于磨面上形成自润滑层,该自润滑层具有良好的减摩、抗磨和提高表面质量的作用。

Abstract: A novel self-lubricating phenolic resin-bonded grinding wheel is developed, wherein the nanosized lubricant complex of dialkyl pentasulfide (RC2540) and β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) is used as filler. The morphology and thermo-gravimetric (TG) of the complex particles in the phenolic resin are analyzed. The mechanical properties of the complex-filled grinding wheels with different filling contents are determined and the grinding performance of the wheels are investigated under different filling content and grinding parameter (wheel speed, work piece speed, and depth of cut) conditions. The RC2540 releasing and self-lubrication mechanisms of the clathrate compound in the grinding process are studied. Results indicate that the lubricant complex does not be destroyed during the curing process of the phenolic resin. The tensile strength and hardness of the wheels can meet the practical application conditions when filler contents are less than 20%. Under the same grinding conditions, the grinding force and grinding temperature of the wheel filled with 10 wt% complex are about 40% and 35% lower than those of the ordinary wheel, respectively. During the grinding process, the lubricant additive (RC2540) in the complex is found to be released and the releasing additive works together with the β-CD to form a lubricating layer on the grinding surface, which makes the abrasive tools own self-lubrication and anti-wear performance and consequently improve the surface quality.
