Real-time Estimation of Clutch Slipping Torque in Hybrid Electric Vehicles during Slipping Start Process

摘要: 混合动力车辆中的滑摩起动过程中,需要通过离合器滑摩作用进行发动机的拖起。然而,离合器滑动摩擦性质会随温度、转速差等因素发生变化,使离合器滑摩扭矩的实际值与名义值之间出现极大的偏差,导致基于离合器滑摩扭矩名义值的滑摩起动控制与补偿失效。据此,提出一种基于未知输入观测器的扭矩实时估计方法用于估计滑摩起动过程中离合器滑摩扭矩。由于滑摩起动过程中离合器两端转速差会急剧减小,湿式离合器润滑油带来的黏性摩擦阻力不可忽略,因此建立基于“库仑+黏性”摩擦的离合器滑摩扭矩模型,并进行试验验证。开展台架试验,对不同油温和初始转速差工况下滑摩起动过程中的离合器滑摩扭矩进行实时估计,结果显示该估计算法有较好的精度。

Abstract: During the slipping start process of hybrid electric vehicles, the clutch is used to crank the engine. However, since the clutch slipping torque changes with environmental factors, such as temperature, speed difference and etc., large deviation may occur between the actual slipping torque and the nominal one. The control performance with the nominal clutch slipping torque is deteriorated. Therefore, a real-time torque estimation method based on the unknown input observer is proposed to estimate the clutch slipping torque during the slipping start process. Since the speed difference between the clutch disks will decrease sharply during the slipping start, the viscous friction of the wet clutch cannot be ignored. Therefore, a “Coulomb+Viscous” friction model is established, and the effectiveness is validated. The bench test is carried out to estimate the clutch slipping torque under different oil temperatures and different initial speed differences during the slipping start process. The online estimation results show that the proposed estimation method has good precision.
