Experimental Optimization of the Transition Regenerator for Multi-stage Stirling-type Pulse Tube Cryocooler

摘要: 多级脉冲管制冷机中的过渡蓄冷器因结构简单,其对整机性能的影响通常被忽略。目前,国内有报道的大多数使用过渡蓄冷器结构的多级脉冲管制冷机均没有对过渡蓄冷器进行系统的研究和优化,但过渡蓄冷器作为多级脉冲管制冷机整机PV功消耗的重要部件之一,其效率的高低直接影响整机性能优劣。分别从过渡蓄冷器回热填料(丝网)填充方式、过渡蓄冷器直径以及长度三个方面对其进行优化研究。结果表明:优化过渡蓄冷器相关参数后,制冷机在20 K的制冷量相较优化前提高了19.01%。

Abstract: The influence of the transition regenerator on the performance of the multi-stage pulse tube cryocooler is usually ignored because of its simple structure. At present, there are no related system researches and optimizations about the multi-stage pulse tube cryocooler with the structure of transition regenerator, but as one of the important components causing PV power loss of the multi-stage stirling-type pulse tube cryocooler, the overall efficiency determines by the efficiency of the transition regenerator. Therefore, a series of parameters of the transition regenerator including the length, diameter and filling method of the stainless steel wire mesh are optimized by experiments. The results showed that the cooling capacity at 20 K is increased by 19.01%.
