Abstract: Research on new type of design knowledge bases, conceptual solution catalogues, is an advanced subject, on design methodology. Taking the separate function as an example. Design catalogues for principle conceptual design to realize the function is established and proposes a general computer-oriented action principle design process is proposed. On studying the relationship of the knowledge in the process, represents functions of action principle in function feature model and provides computer-oriented feature models for action principle design.
