Abstract: The mechanisms of tire temperature rise are expounded firstly, namely, the relationships of tire stress-strain and its temperature. Then, on basis of the experimental data, the steady state thermal status of a tire based on rolling is analyzed. The experimental data are regressed on rolling is analyzed. The experimental data are regressed by means of regression technique. The formula of single factor is built between tire surface temperature rise and operating conditions, including speed, load, inflation pressure and ambient temperature distributions in steady state are analyzed. The formula of multi-factor is built between tire surface temperature and operation condition also, the gained regression equation was high reliable by means of the F testing. The regression equation can be applied to initially predict tire temperature rise and instruct tire design, with which supplies the foundation to study tire blow out mechanism and put forward prevetive measures at the same time.
