Abstract: The computerized numerical solutions of Rundinger’s gas/liquid two-phase flow model indicated that, the gas and liquid temperature remained substantially constant throughout the nozzle and equaled to the inlet temperature of the nozzle on the conditions of large loading ratios, the isothermal assumption was provided and analyzed theoretically. With the isothermal assumption, the simplified isothermal flow model for large loading ratios of gas/liquid two-phase nozzle was obtained, and the effects of parameters on nozzle’s performance was investigated. At last, the two models were compared theoretically and experimentally, the research results show good agreement between the calculational result and the experimental data of the two models on the condition of large loading ratio.
