Abstract: Based on a topology for product requirements modeling, presents a methodology for requirement analysis and downstream mapping in product life-cycle. The series matrices of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) of product life-cycle are used as guidelines for projecting the requirements onto downstream stages, while the fuzzy theories adopted as systematic approach to realize the required analyzing and mapping mechanisms. An engineering case study on the development of an oil-pipe out-surface processing machine is also presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method.
