ESTA-HoQ Network Model for Quality-oriented Design of Overall Parameters of Large Complex Product by Multiple Participants

Abstract: With consideration that event success logic in success tree analysis (STA) is not simple enough, an extended success tree analysis (ESTA) model which is more visual in event success logic is proposed. Then ESTA-HoQ is designed based on ESTA logic, and further ESTA-HoQ network framework of large complex product is established. Due to that product design is quality-oriented, a standard quality loss function is defined. Also the fact that the essence of multi-participant coordinative design for large complex product is benefit allocation is revealed. So considering minimizing standard quality loss functions which are designed according logic gates as objects and parameters and relationships between them and benefits of multi-participants as constraints, a multi-level hierarchical model of multi-participant coordinative design for overall parameters of large complex product based on ESTA-HoQ network is build and the algorithm of the model is proposed. The design for overall parameters of a fixed wing aircraft is studied to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the model.
