Mold Level Control of Large Size Ingot Based on Fuzzy Self-Tuning PID

Abstract: Manufacturing process of Large size ingot is complex, its mold level control affects the quality of ingot directly,in view of the time variability and hysteresis of mold level control,the mathematical model of the mold level control system is constructed. Furthermore,fuzzy self-tuning PID control strategy is presented and the controller is designed in order to realize the online self-tuning of PID parameters.The simulation results of Matlab show that the system has better robustness than the conventional PID control.Adding fuzzy control to improve the closed-loop control procedures on the basis of S7-300PLC,Configuring the control process by WinCC flexible,and establish connection with PLC,the simulation control results is consistent with the Matlab results.
