SIMULATION OF AEROACOUSTIC ON AIR-CONDITIONER

Abstract: he noise field of air-conditioner is simulated, and the pressure fluctuation of the stabilizer is analyzed. The sound pressure level spectra of the rotary noise is predicted using Curle’s equation and FFT. It can be verified that the sound power will spread from the fundamental frequency to other frequencies, the peak value of sound power can be moved from the fundamental frequency to lower frequency and then the noise can be controlled effectively. A new non-isometric impeller is gotten by analyzing the sound pressure level spectra of non-isometric impellers, and the new non-isometric impeller can reduce the rotary noise of the cross-flow fan of air-conditioner effectively.
