Abstract: Three active control strategies including the control strategy, with downstream and sweep feature, with upstream and sweep feature, with vertical and sweep feature that could change the characteristics of fluid flow and heat transfer are proposed based on the main feature of turbulent structure near wall. The characteristics of flow and heat transfer in a rectangle channel with active control strategy are simulated with numerical method. The interaction law of the three control strategies on fluid flow and heat transfer is investigated. The numerical simulation results show that the control strategy, with downstream and sweep feature, could restrain the fluid ejection from the wall and improve the characteristics of fluid flow and heat transfer. Compared with other two control strategies, the control strategy, with downstream and sweep feature, have the best performance of flow and heat transfer. Although the other control strategies are effective for heat transfer enhancement and drag reduction in some degrees, the synthesis coefficient of heat transfer and flow is enhanced little compared with the channel without the control strategy applied.
