Abstract:
Remanufacturing is one reasonable recycle model for the high value mechanical and electrical products in current industry. And the uncertainty in remanufacturing cores is the key issues in the industrialization of traditional remanufacturing. To meet this problem, the concept of predecisional remanufacturing, in which mechanical and electrical products might be remanufactured in an optimized timing, is presented. With analyzing each life cycle phase of mechanical and electrical products, the timing decision-making method is given. Firstly, the variable performance of the products in the manufacturing phase, the using phase, the remanufacturing phase and re-using phase is quantitatively analyzed, and the quantitative relationship between the product performance and the serving value is established. Then, based on analyzing the remanufacturability on the inflection point of product performance, the timing decision-making method for predecisional remanufacturing is given. Finally, the six cylinder diesel engine and its key components are analyzed of its predecisional remanufacturing timing as the case study to validate this method.
