Abstract: Based on probability and statistics the influenee of absolute size on futigue size effect is studied. The type and parameters of fatigue life distribution function of different size specimen and their relationship have been meticulously analysed so that the machine components' fatigue life could be estimates from fatigue life distribution of specimens with certain reliability.
