Abstract: In order to get the airside heat transfer and pressure drop correlations of corrugated fin-and-tube heat exchangers with hydrophilic coating under wet conditions, experiments on 7 heat exchangers under 23 working conditions are done. The experimental data are used to develop the correlations for heat transfer and pressure drop with the multiple linear regression technique. The proposed heat transfer correlation has a mean deviation of 6.5% from experimental data and can predict 90.3% of the experimental data within the deviation limit of ±15% while the pressure drop correlation has a mean deviation of 9.1% and can correlate 79.2% of the test data within the deviation limit of ±15%. The accuracy of the new correlations is better than that of the existing correlations.
