SURVEY OF THE RESEARCH OF MAGNETIC BEARINGS

Abstract: Due to the attractive advantages such as high rotational speed, high reliability, low energy consumption and no lubrication, magnetic bearings have received an much attention and great developments have been achieved in this area within in the past two decades. A brief introduction covering the recent achievements in this area is presented.
