Creative Design and Test of Vibration Paper-cutting Mechanism

Abstract: Vibration is always regarded as a harmful physical phenomenon. Once the people have grasped its law, they may effectively use it to serve the humanity. Material transportation of the automata, vibration drilling in metal cutting and small-sized paper punching machine developed by Germany in recent years are all good examples of the effective use of vibration. A new mechanism is invented to enhance the paper-cutting accuracy, reduce the shock of the machine tool and save energy. A paper-cutting test bed with vibration cutting machine is designed. The amplitudes of cutting force generated by vibration at different frequency in cutting paper of different thickness are collected and processed precisely. The feasibility of vibration cutting is verified, the optimal vibration excitation frequency for paper-cutting is found out, and the vibration shock is reduced greatly. The anticipated target is achieved.
