Research on the Self-recovery and Control Method of Hull Deformation Alignment Offset Based on Structure Adaptation

Abstract: The traditional main engine alignment control method does not consider the shaft alignment offset caused by the hull deformation. A self-recovery and control method centering offset compensation control method is proposed. Firstly, by constructing a monitoring system for hull deformation centering offset, the amount of alignment component change is calculated. Secondly, the alignment offset compensation amount is calculated by merging with the existing main alignment results which based on displacement sensor monitoring and calculation. The perturbation characteristics of the air spring bearing capacity of the main air vibration isolation are analyzed. The main centering variation within the allowable air spring pressure range and the maximum amount of alignment compensation allowed by the device is calculated. So it is judged whether it is feasible to adjust the air pressure compensation of the air vibration isolation to control the centering offset caused by the deformation of the hull. Finally, a method is proposed based on structural adaptation. By adjusting the pressure and distribution of the air spring, the distribution of the load-bearing capacity of the device was changed. Therefore, the mechanical properties of the device is changed and the alignment is adjusted. So that self-recovery and control of the alignment offset is realized. The experimental study verifies the effectiveness of self-recovery and control method. It can repair the shortcomings of traditional host alignment control technology. The self-recovery and control method of hull deformation alignment offset based on structure adaptation is of great significance to realize the long-period operation of the submarine and the work of different diving depths.
