Abstract: This paper describes a system for automatic generation of process plans and NC programmer within a Pseudo-FMS. The surfaces on prasmatic parts to be machined on different stations within the P-FMS are described respectively and process plans are generated using a semi-generative approach. The NC progremmes arepreduced by retrieving and editing the pre-stored standerdised subroutines and necessary data for real-time control and scheduling and provided.
