PREDICTING THE SOUND POWER OF MACHINE USING THE BOUNDARY ELEMENT METHOD

Abstract

Abstract: The Boundary Element Method is used to calculating the sound field radiated by a machine. Theoretical calculation and experimental verification shows that the method is effective. This method is used to obtain solutions for the surface field radiated by a gearbox of oil pump in main frequencies.
