Abstract: When mechanical equipment go wrong, the failed parts need to be replaced with components of either the same or different type, the reliability model for mechanical equipment is broken in the course of reassembly and maintenance, thus it is necessary to reconstruct the reliability model of mechanical systems. Based on the time-to-failure density function of parts, the change course of part service age for the mechanical systems that are reassembled and maintained is investigated, and the reliability model of mechanical systems is reconstructed. By means of simulation, the time-to-failure density function of parts is thought of as Weibull distribution, then it is analyzed how the time-to-failure density function has influence on the system reliability. It is of important significance to the direction of mechanical system maintenance based on the system reliability.
