Abstract: NC verification has always been a difficulty of NC machining. In recent years, the Web-based NC machining simulation has become a popular research area, which currently faces the conflicting requirements for high precision and real-time capability. A multi-branch general lists structure is proposed to solve the above problem. The general method of applying the VRML ElevationGrid node to build a grid model of workpiece and its disadvantages are introduced. The multi-branch general lists structure is defined, and the relevant recursion arithmetic is represented. Compared to the common general lists structure, the multi-branch general lists structure has the advantages of dynamical depth and adaptive scale. The VRML super class and remote control mechanism are constructed. The experiment of Web-based simulation demonstrates that a model constructed by the multi-branch general lists structure has a better effect of simulation compared to static details modeling.
