APPLICATION OF THE REACTION RATE THEORY TO THE DETERMINATION OF THE EFFECTS OF INLET PARAMETERS ON THE BLOW-OFF IIMITS IN A STIRRED REACTOR

Abstract: The contents of this paper are as follows: 1) According to Longwells reaction rate .theory an approximate method for the determination of the blow-off limits is suggested. 2) Based on the analysis of the combustion process of Cn H2n with airy The Present Paper points out that the blow-off .limits [(N/VPn)B.o,TB.o,Bo.] are independent of a if the reaction of the combustion brocess is represented by Eq(11). 3) The second conclusion can also be used for any hydrocarbons (Cn Hm), if n is larger and m approaches to 2n.
