Abstract: By mainly studying the influence of the fine extent of quartz and its amount filled, the kinds of treatment agents and their amounts used on the mechanical properties of polyvinyl chloride-quartz composite (PQC) and analysing the morphology structure of the material, it has been approved that the PQC could be used as filter, which provides the experimental evidence for the industrial production and application.
