PREPARATION OF Fe COATING ON THE SURFACE OF CERAMIC PARTICLES AND ITS APPLICATION

Abstract: The chemical vapor deposition set to obtain coating on the surface of ceramic particles is designed, and the process of obtaining Fe coating on the surface of alumina particles is investigated. The welt ability between alumina particles and heat – resistant steel liquid is remarkably improved by Fe coating, and the thickness of infiltration layer is increased during preparation of alumina particles/heat – resistant steel matrix composite by infiltration technology. The structures of the layer is dense and the particles in the layer are uniformly distributed.
