Abstract: The lubrication analysis on gears meshing interface is always limited by the calculation of parameters of tooth surface geometry and load. At present, the loaded tooth contact analysis ( LTCA) method proceeded by modeling analysis of three-dimensional finite element restricts the application of gears transmission tribology, due to modeling rigidly and computing hugely. Based on topology of ease-off surface, the analysis method on tooth meshing stiffness of gears and LTCA calculation are done to obtain the geometric and mechanical parameters of tooth surface of gears. The analysis methods are proposed on the discrete finite elements of contact line, meshing simulation of Quasi Hertz contact and mixed elastohydrodynamic lubrication(EHL). The problems are solved on the instantaneous contact area simulation and mixed EHL analysis at tooth surface boundary. By using the classical calculation formula of EHL oil film thickness and friction coefficient, the oil film thickness and friction coefficient on the instantaneous contact line are solved quickly. Finally the distribution law and varying course of friction power consumption on tooth surface is obtained. It provides a shortcut calculation flow for the topological design and tribological analysis on tooth meshing surface of gears.
