An Acquisition Method of Dynamic Energy Efficiency for Multi-resolution Entity of Mechanical Processing Unit

Abstract: Mechanical processing unit is the basic constitution and the main activity subject of machining process. In order to meet the requirement of meticulous energy management, through the dynamic characteristic analysis of energy consumption on the manufacturing unit level and machinery level of mechanical processing units, the comprehensive energy efficiency index system is proposed. Based on the MRE (multiple resolution entity) theory, the dynamic energy efficiency models of mechanical processing unit MRE is established by adopted the hierarchical ladder modeling method of DEVS (discrete event system specification). So the dynamic information on energy utilization, energy consumption and effective output (processing profits, conforming quantity, and material removal amount) is obtained. The comprehensive energy efficiency models are simulated by using CD++ plug-in under Eclipse to analyze a specific case, and the validity of the method is verified.
